Lloyds and the Good Economy Partnership

Bromford Flagship, a housing association, and Senze, a technology provider, with support from Lloyds, pilot tested the use of monitoring technology in a sample of 121 homes to measure actual thermal performance and compare this with modelled EPC data.

The Demonstration of Energy Efficiency Potential (DEEP) Project

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) commissioned the DEEP project, which ran between 2019 and 2024. DEEP was undertaken by a consortium led by Leeds Beckett University (LBU) and supported by the University of Salford (UoS), and Loughborough University (LU).

Selective Licensing

Selective Licensing is a scheme Local Authorities in England can choose to implement to help ensure that homes in the Private Rended Sector (PRS) meet minimum standards. Introduced by the Housing Act 2004, a Local Authority can designate all or part of its area as being subject to selective licensing.
