State of the Nation Review Webinar

The Retrofit Delivery: State of the Nation Review Webinar took place on 8th July 2024. Together with Tara Clinton (Arup) and Donal Brown (Ashden) we gave an overview of the Review and set forward what the next steps are for activity, discussing: retrofit delivery numbers and data statistics; the model types and analytical approaches; the analysis overview; objective mapping and next steps

Evaluating retrofit outcomes: insights from over 1000 council homes

During this session, you will hear from Professor David Glew of Leeds Beckett University on their in-depth study into how to evaluate retrofits, funded by Leeds City Council. This project trialled the UKGBC retrofit toolkit on 1346 Leeds City Council homes. The retrofits were delivered through five different schemes or approaches, using ERDF, ECO and HUG funding.

Measuring Retrofit Outcomes: Defining metrics for success

Lisa is a retrofit coordinator, and Technical Lead at RetrofitWorks – a cooperative of retrofit installers and designers. She has an academic background in building physics and Architecture, and has conducted a range of performance evaluations of new, retrofit and refurbished buildings. Throughout lockdown, Lisa took on the challenge of retrofitting her own Glasgow tenement flat.
